The primary way to unlock gates. Open the app and tap to enter.

  1. Open the Sage app
  2. Tap "Gain Access"
  3. Present phone to reader (within 1 to 2 feet)
  4. Wait for confirmation
  5. Gate opens automatically

  2. Long-press the lock screen
  3. Tap "Customize"
  4. Select widget area below the time
  1. Tap "+ Add Widgets"
  2. Search for "Sage"
  3. Choose your widget type
  4. Tap "Done"

One-tap access from your home screen. Available on iOS and Android.

iOS Setup

  1. Long-press your home screen
  2. Tap the "+" icon
  3. Search "Sage"
  4. Select widget type
  5. Tap "Add Widget"
  6. Position and tap "Done"

Troubleshooting

Quick solutions to common issues.

"Unable to Connect"

  • Enable Bluetooth in Settings
  • Move closer (1 to 2 feet)
  • Restart Sage app

Widget Not Working

  • Check Bluetooth is on
  • Verify credential is "Active"
  • Remove and re-add widget

Gate Not Opening

  • Verify correct entry point
  • Check credential expiration
  • Contact property management
